Catching up on Events

Now that I'm on facebook it's like I don't blog! But I think blogs are more fun for closer friends and family and facebook is just to stay connected with all sorts of people.

Here's what we've been up to lately starting with the sweetest little new baby niece. (Mike didn't want me to put tons of pictures of her, so there is just this one.) Her name is Ariena.

This is a darling photo that Stacie took of Sarah and Dave and Brigs.

This is a not-so-darling one of me taken the same day. I seriously am a camera show off. Don't ask me why!

This is Greg and Aly, our gator, who happens to be a huge Florida fan. This was taken the night of the BCS championship. Needless to say that Aly was happy his team won.

Other updates from us?
  • I loved watching the Obama inauguration. Not that I love him or his political views, but I just love the fact that we live in a free country with democracy and can have such a smooth transition of leadership. I loved singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and it was a very patriotic, emotional, neat moment for me.
  • I solved the Rubix cube I got Greg for Christmas. Go me! I've never done that before.
  • Greg and I got a couples' massage. AWESOME! Don't ask me why we hadn't done that before. It was so relaxing. I highly recommend it.
  • Greg's dad had back surgery, and the day before he was scheduled to go in, his mom slipped on the ice an dislocated her knee and had to go to the hospital herself! So, she wasn't able to drive with her knee brace on, so after Ger's surgery, Greg and I drove up to the hospital in Midvale to pick her up and she stayed with us for a couple days.
  • We went house hunting and made an offer on another house. Very cute house! I like it a lot...even better than the other one we offered on.
And that's about it with us! Just wanted to give a little update!
