We had the craziest July! Good, but crazy. We moved to American Fork on July 8th or so. We are really enjoying it here so far. I had an easy move this time...a moving company did it all for us. I'm sure that I won't be so lucky next time.
The rest of July was jam-packed with family reunions, trips to Lagoon, 24th of July celebrations, and just regular "stuff." Greg's brother Kirk and his family were here from Chicago and we had a great time with them.
The first part of August has been busy so far, too! We celebrated our 7th anniversary on Aug. 2. Greg's mom and dad had given us a dinner gift certificate to Olive Garden, so we went there for a little anniversary dinner, and we didn't even remember to use the certificate! Next time.
On Aug. 8, we had a little family Olympic Party here at our new place. I love the Olympics! The stories are so motivating and inspiring. Greg and I are sort-of Olympic junkies and we really like to watch all the events.
And that about catches us up in a short little post! I'll have to add pictures of some of our activities later. I hope you guys don't give up on me! Even if I'm just a sporadic poster, I still like to keep in touch!
Yeah for the Olympics! We are huge fans, too. Glad you are so much closer. Maybe we can get together sometime when I'm in town!
ReplyDeleteThe party was so fun. I have to add what a wonderful hostess you are right down to the star plates and the centerpeice. We have really liked watching the Olympics too. What a bummer for the U.S.A gymnastics team! Love you tons!
